New signing Antony has opened up on his recent chats with ‘Best in the World’ Cristiano Ronaldo since joining Manchester United. Both the attackers had started together for the first time against Real Sociedad.
Although it wasn’t a fruitful occasion as they failed to score a goal, they will be looking forward to many more games together in the future.
The 22-year-old introduced himself to the United fans in style as he scored a superb goal in his debut game against Arsenal. Ten Hag didn’t wait to hand him his opportunity and he amazed the crowd with his attractive dribbling skills.
Whereas, Ronaldo has been an inspiring figure both on and off the field. The young stars have been learning a lot from him and he never showed any signs of stopping even after considering his age.

Antony has talked about the influence of the Portuguese striker and their chats since signing for the Red Devils. Speaking with the club’s official website, the former Ajax star said:
“Regardless of age, there’s immense talent in all the players. Words can’t describe Cristiano, the best in the world. In just a few days, I’ve learnt a lot from him. He has an extraordinary mind and, whenever I talk to him, I take a lot from it. I’m sure that we have a strong attack and it’s very promising for the future.”
The Brazilian has been given the nod to play as a regular right winger and Sancho has been pushed to the left in recent games. It has helped both the players as they are able to deliver quality balls upfront.
Ronaldo was a key player for United under Ralf Rangnick as he scored 24 goals in his first season after signing from Juventus. However, this season he has fallen behind the pecking order.
Marcus Rashford has been a regular player for United and he has repaid the faith by scoring three goals in the last four games.
