The latest reports have claimed that Serie A champions Juventus are keen on making a move to sign Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku in the summer transfer window.
Since arriving at Old Trafford back in the summer of 2017 for a mammoth transfer fee of £75 million, the Belgian forward has not really managed to win over the United faithful. Lukaku has scored goals on a regular basis but his career at the Theatre Of Dreams has been highlighted mainly by the misses and unfortunate incidents on the pitch.
Lukaku was also not given regular football under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer towards the back end of the season and the 26-year-old feels unloved and unwanted at Manchester United. The star forward has also made it clear that he is open to new challenges for the upcoming season as Inter Milan are keen on snapping him up.
English forward Marcus Rashford has also signed a contract extension with Manchester United which again goes on to show Lukaku the exit door. Inter are looking to seal a deal for Lukaku after the player praised Antonio Conte labeling the Italian ‘the best coach in the world’.
However, recent reports state that Juventus are interested in Lukaku as well and the Old Lady want to hijack Inter’s bid after Lukaku has reportedly agreed on personal terms with the Nerazzurri.
Lukaku scored 12 goals for United last summer and Juventus are now willing to offer the English giants £75 million for their big center-forward.
