Movement around Sergio Reguilon’s move to United

Manchester United have been reportedly intimated by Solskjaer that the manager wants to have a left-back this summer if a centre-back is not available. The Red Devils have been linked with the likes of Sergio Reguilon and as reported earlier were also offered to United by Real Madrid. It was reported by The Metro about United being offered Reguilon and now there have been some activities going on around Reguilon’s future.

The left-footed left-back has been heavily linked with a move to United with a bid yet to be placed. As reported earlier, Real Madrid demand about €30m for the young left-back, but also want other clauses inserted. United are the front-runners to get Reguilon’s services as he would give perfect competition and cover to injury-hit Luke Shaw.

Earlier, Reguilon’s international teammate and United No.1 David De Gea had posted a picture, which sent United fans into a frenzy. Later Mason Greenwood and Paul Pogba started following Reguilon on Instagram and now the left-back has removed his bio which mentioned “Player of Real Madrid”. All the signs are indicating towards a move away from Real Madrid and he would be a great signing for United if they manage to get him.

Sighting the lower possibilities of signing a centre-back this summer, it would be smart for United to be getting a solid left-back in the form of Sergio Reguilon.
