According to Journalist Simon Bates, Manchester United is looking at the possibility of signing Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze, as manager Erik ten Hag aims to bolster his team’s attacking prowess.
English journalist Bates has revealed that United has been monitoring the midfielder since Christmas. Ten Hag may consider pursuing the 24-year-old this summer with a desire to increase their midfield’s goal-scoring output.
Eze has recently enjoyed a breakthrough season at Selhurst Park, contributing 10 goals and four assists in 40 appearances across various competitions.
The midfielder’s impressive performances have also earned him a call-up to the English national team.
United already has a prolific goal-scoring midfielder in Bruno Fernandes, who scored 14 goals last season. But they would need more from other players in the squad.

Eze’s versatility is one of his strengths, as he is capable of playing in multiple positions such as attacking midfield, out wide, and even central midfield.
The transfer fee for the England international remains uncertain, with Transfermarkt estimating his value at €30 million (with two years left on his present contract).
While Man United is actively pursuing Chelsea midfielder, Mason Mount, Ten Hag may aim to acquire both Eze and his fellow England teammate during the summer transfer window.
The pursuit of these midfield additions showcases the manager’s commitment to bolstering the squad. Eze made a notable impact in his international debut for the England national team.
